FAQ

1. Why do you say knowledge can make you a Dialysis Champion in this new era?

Knowledge is a weapon to combat society’s quest for truth. Suppose you know the reality of truth by using your analytical, logical thinking through “evidence-based research.” In that case, you will derive the answer for a problem’s solution, whether related to health, economy, environmental issues, etc.

2. Do underlying renal conditions complicate other body systems and lead to significant diseases?

The book discusses certain compounds made up of molecules in our body, such as sugar, salt, and water. Plus, acidic/basic elements affect the stability of our body’s homeostasis, which can be found in outside sources like preservatives and those “added” for flavor, the balanced nature of pH, other chemicals, and so forth.

3. In your perspective, do you think this book will only benefit nephrology patients, professionals, undergraduates, and medical practitioners?

Everybody should be open to the new concepts I am introducing and teaching to the readers’ minds to help everyone understand their physical health states. Those in the nephrology realm can make the right clinical judgments in their practice by knowing the basic and advanced underlying principles, and patients can understand what’s happening to their bodies.

4. How can you connect yourself to the people wanting to know more about what you discuss in the book?

I want interactive discussions via chat or calls with the people who wish to quench their thirst for more knowledge, who I can guide to solve a missing puzzle piece to heal, improve, or develop a solution through representing topics to be discourse.

Author Bio

Rosemarie Zuleta began her career as a dialysis nurse at the Chinatown Dialysis Center. Her goal is to impart an understanding of the simplest to the most complex concepts of medical diseases in which dialysis is at the core. It will help improve or sustain people’s lives by giving them joy and hope for a better future. She believes that we can solve a problem through the guidelines, qualities, and values of any health professional and the mind-binding of people’s intellect.

Throughout her career in renal nursing, Zuleta has rotated between acute dialysis and renal ward nursing, renal vascular access coordination, renal research nursing, and leadership responsibilities in outpatient dialysis.

One of her proudest achievements was authoring and publishing her first book on dialysis, Dialysis Champions of the New-Era Thru the Knowledge Power of “Evidence-Based Practice Research.” In the book, Zuleta wanted to empower dialysis patients with a motivational and actionable handbook that would teach patients and their loved ones how to deal with the challenges of dialysis while making the most of each day.
